Young Writers’ Festivial

South Yorkshire young writers festival were started by Signposts in 2010 in Sheffield. Hive has since run several since 2016. Festival days are a one-stop-shop for all things writing, from workshops and talks with a wide range of professional and emerging writers, to panel Q&As, one-to-one sofa sessions, and information on publishing, progression routes and writing careers.

There are also live performances and an open mic supportive atmosphere. And of course, plenty of time to network and meet other young writers from across the north.
